The bag has a nice sharp look to it. Seems like a pleather exterior with a thick cardboard dividers on the inside and some kind of fabric on the inside.The black color is good for hiding dirt and has a fancy look to it.There’s a handle on the outside that makes it easy to carry when zipped. However, might be nice to have a handle on the top so that everything doesn’t get turned on its side when you’re carrying it. But it’s pretty nicely packed so it shouldn’t really matter with closed makeup bottles. And it does reduce the carrying profile since It doesn’t stick out as much when holding it from that angle.It comes with a nice mesh bag that has a little loop on it, nice for waterproof stuff. Could even be good for bringing out on a boat trip for wet items.The interior has a cardboard grid. I think it would be great to keep this in place if you have a bunch of little makeup bottles or even essential oils. This seems like a really nice essential oil holder that can encompass those taller bottles.I checked and with regular size foundation like the Revlon or haus labs, This box is wide enough that you can just sit them right in and not remove the grid. But for taller bottles or longer makeup brushes you might need to remove some of the grid and lay them on their side.The only downside to this is the outside material. It’s that fake leather that is not that robust. It does look quite nice though and flashy so it could be fine if you take good care of it.Overall, this is a nice looking box with a decent room in it. The size of it reminds me of the size of one of those classic lunch boxes but a little bit wider.
