Upon first try, it could appear these are ineffective. However after many days in a row of use, I realize there is a learning curve. These are very reliable at bringing shorter/ingrown hairs beneath the skin to the surface. For best results, these may not always be able to fully pull the hair out the first time, they can slip. So, once you realize this, just switch over to your slanted or pointed tweezer to finish the job rather then risk breaking the hair off back into the skin. I honestly think this is a pair of tweezers every aesthetician should have in their toolkit. Also work fantastic at touching up bikini line.A FEW TIPS:1. They work even better after exfoliating2. Try to grab hairs a little off center from where you would instinctively aim with standard tweezers. These grab better when using a lighter touch, barely skimming the surface of the skin. If you continue to miss the hair, try adjusting ever so slightly in any direction because the circular window can throw you off, but these do work by adjusting the pressure and area in which you’re trying to grab.3. These are very good at lifting the first layer of skin that can sometimes obstruct hairs. Be sure to clean the tips frequently because it does impact the great parent accuracy.I do still feel that the metal or maybe the roughness on the inside edges of the tweezers do cause some scratching/sensitivity and potential damagedto skin if hyper focused. If this could be polished better I would give this 5 stars.Also, love the company reached out to ensure I was satisfied with the product. If I had concerns, they were willing to provide a full refund and allow me to keep the tweezers . I declined because this product delivers – just takes a little practice learning how to use them slightly differently than standard tweezers.
