Description Aquathol® K – Liquid Herbicide * #1 seller for Curly-leaf Pondweed One of the most versatile and effective aquatic herbicides ever developed. It is an excellent tool that can provide season long control of a broad spectrum of submerged weeds. A fast-acting liquid aquatic herbicide used to control a wide range of submerged weeds in lakes and ponds, with the active ingredient dipotassium salt of endothall. Aquathol® K Facts: Not toxic to fish or other aquatic organisms when applied according to the label. Has a relatively short half-life in water. Provides aquatic weed control in a relatively short time, generally 2 to 4 weeks. Can provide long-¬term control, depending on the application timing and the target species. No restrictions on treated water use for swimming, fishing or irrigation. Always read the latest and follow the label directions. Product Information Active Ingredient: Dipotassium salt of endothall (40.3%). Mode of Action: It is a contact herbicide, meaning it works by breaking down plant cell structure and inhibiting protein synthesis when it touches the target plant. Target Weeds: Effective against weeds such as hydrilla, Eurasian watermilfoil, curly-leaf pondweed, coontail, sago pondweed, and naiad. Water Use: When applied as directed, there are no restrictions on treated water for swimming, fishing, or irrigation of turf and ornamental plants. However, consult the label for specific restrictions on irrigating food crops or using treated fish for food/feed. Safety: It is safe for most fish and wildlife when used according to label instructions. However, decomposition of heavy plant growth can cause oxygen depletion, potentially suffocating fish, so treating water bodies in sections is recommended. Application: It can be sprayed on the water or injected below the surface, either as a concentrate or diluted with water.
