STAY STRONG is a Get Well Soon card created by Mireinart (Marta Isabella Reina) in 2022. The artwork is inspired by one of the myths about the birth of Hercules. Hercules is the Roman equivalent of the Greek divine hero Heracles, son of Jupiter and the mortal Alcmena. After he was born, Hera sent two snakes to kill him in his crib. The infant Hercules was unusually strong and fearless, however, and he strangled the snakes before they could strangle him! Among many meanings, the snake is also associated with regeneration, rebirth and renewal and Ancient Greeks believed serpents were sacred beings with healing powers. The card aims to convey the idea of being strong and courageous when facing difficulties, to not allow oneself to succumb but to react by drawing on one’s inner strength. It presents the serpent as a regenerative symbol at the same time. Design specifications: – The card is blank inside enough space to write your own personal message. – The card is a digital artwork professionally printed on 300gsm high-quality matte paper. – A black or brown glossy envelope is included. – A6 in size, measuring 105mm x 148mm when folded – All colours are represented as accurately as possible. However, I cannot guarantee the colours shown in the listings exactly match the item as all computer monitors vary. Delivery: All my cards are packaged plastic-free and posted in card-backed ‘do not bend’ envelopes. I send all UK orders by Royal Mail First Class (1-2 business days).
