The Bernette B62 AIRLOCK is the cover stitch machine of the b60 series with easy air threading. The automatic air threader makes threading the looper thread child’s play.  The machine has 4 cover stitches and 3 chain stitches and can be used for countless applications, with which different fabric types – stretchy fabrics in particular – can be sewn perfectly. The presser foot can be lowered and temporarily raised with the knee lifter, leaving both hands free to guide the fabric. The slide-on table and matching cover stitch insert increase the sewing area and provide sufficient space for large projects. Thanks to the 5 LEDs, the large working area is brightly illuminated. The looper can be threaded with a simple push of a button. 5 LEDs in the needle and working area The well-lit workspace of the bernette 68 AIRLOCK eases sewing as well as threading of the looper and needles. The 5 LED lights facilitate precise and accurate work. Lots of space thanks to the large working area (130 mm) The 130 mm space right of the needle gives coverstitching another dimension. The large working area is ideal for leading and catching heavy sewing projects in front and behind the needle and gives you the space for all the tasks in the needle and looper area. Freearm Sewing tubular projects such as cuffs, legs and necklines will be easy thanks to the freearm. Super-large slide-on table The easy-to-attach and included slide-on table makes sewing and fabric guiding even more comfortable, especially for large sewing projects. This allows the fabric to glide smoothly over the large rounded working area. The matching coverstitch insert additionally extends the sewing area and closes perfectly with the slide-on-table. Knee Lifter Use the included knee lifter to position the fabric comfortably under the presser food with both hands. Simply push the knee lifter to the right with your knee and the presser foot is lowered or temporarily raised.
