Our Reptile Calcium Magnesium Supplement is a blend of fine, high grade natural Calcium Carbonate and Magnesium Carbonate powders which is easy to digest, suitable for daily feeding and all species of reptile and amphibian. Calcium is vital for bone growth and maintenance, muscle function and metabolism. Magnesium helps to regulate healthy Calcium storage and assists with the regulation of nerve and muscle function, protein synthesis, blood pressure, blood glucose levels as well as providing benefits to  reproductive health and the digestive system. Remember that to enable your animal to utilise calcium from its diet, it needs exposure to appropriate levels of UVB light or dietary Vitamin D3 or both. To feed Serpentia Reptile Calcium Magnesium Supplement as an insect duster, place a small amount of calcium in a bag along with the insects and shake to coat them evenly and then feed to your reptile immediately. Alternatively use as a sprinkle by lightly coating meat, vegetables and fruits before feeding immediately. You cannot overdose your animal on 100% natural Calcium but over dusting may make their food unpalatable. Typically feed between 1-5 grams per day. Composition:    90% Calcium Carbonate.
